Concrete Inspections
Comprehensive Inspections of Concrete
Using our state-of-the-art equipment, we can locate rebar, find voids in concrete, identify conduit, and more. We then leave marks on the slab located within the concrete. We also have the ability to provide 3D GPR mapping which is great for project planning and customer presentations.
Our goal is to limit construction downtime and delays, providing comprehensive inspections of concrete driveways to slab foundations.

Difference Between GPR for Concrete Scanning vs. Concrete X-Ray?
GPR does not involve the use of any radiation. With Concrete X-Ray you have to clear an area around the service area, often resulting in after hours work. GPR can be used during regular business hours without the risk of radiation and delay of the project. Also with X-Ray, access to both sides of the slab is typically needed, which may not be possible. Finally, scanning slabs on the ground are not possible with X-Ray.
When to Hire a GPR Contractor vs. a Concrete Testing Company?
Concrete testing determines the composition of the concrete and identifies the PSI/breaking point of the sample. This information is obtained by taking core samples and crushing it with specific test equipment. A GPR contractor can be hired before cores samples are taken to prevent hitting rebar, post tension cables or even conduits.
